a weekly warm-up for marketing that attracts your best buyers (featuring real stories, copy tips, and cat pics)
Hey Reader,
Over the holidays, I took a minute to reallyyy slow down.
I swapped strength training for lots of yoga (and laying in the floor with Navy, who insists on having her own yoga mat).
So when I came back to England after a month home in TN, I thought I’d be ready to hit the ground running in my business again.
Instead, I came down with Covid. 🙃
Slowdown, take 2.
As business owners, it’s easy to get frustrated when you can’t move at the speed you’d hoped.
But just like life, business happens in seasons.
There are seasons of rapid growth, and seasons to rest and recharge.
I know not all of my clients are in the same season in business. That’s why I created a new offer I’m calling the Marketing Lift.
Here’s how it works:
Part 1: Audit. I review your marketing to see what’s working, what’s not, and exactly where to focus based on your goals. You’ll get:
- A findings report with insights to support more effective marketing.
- Suggestions for the best next step to hit your goals.
- A video recording explaining my findings.
- Custom checklist of next steps.
Part 2: Copy VIP Day.
Together, we’ll decide the best step for your marketing, and I’ll implement it for you. 👏
You walk away from th discovery process with more than a to-do list. You get a key first step knocked out for your new marketing plan.
(My last Marketing Lift client has a new homepage with all of my audience research and insights baked in to improve conversions.)

P.S. Navy is a therapy dog that goes to work with my mom in her private therapy practice. We started a newsletter for them called The Paws 🐾 that shares free relaxation training and of course, pics of Navy.

Simple actions to fire up your marketing
Don’t move forward with a marketing strategy until you actually ask your audience what they need.
What you think you need to do next might not be the best step. It’s better if we dig into your goals and get clear on a tailored action plan, then get to work from a hyper-informed place.
Start with a 20-minute conversation with a past client. Transcribe and break their feedback into problems, hesitations, goals, etc. (Or I’ll gather those insights for you in a Marketing Lift!)

Analyzing copy from around the web
Speaking of hyper-specific marketing, is there helpful data you collect from your audience that you could share in an email?
Maybe it’s how much progress they’ve made in a course, or how many workouts they’ve tracked in an app.
Celebrate your people and let them know you see their progress.
